Welcome to Day 1 of our 7 Day Self-Care Challenge! Today, we will be focusing on staying hydrated.
Did you know that about 45% of Canadians are chronically dehydrated? While many people know how good water can be for your health, about 45% of Canadians don’t get the recommended 10 cups of water per day.
Day 1 Challenge: Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water today.
Welcome to Day 2 of our 7 Day Self-Care Challenge! Today we will be focusing on the art of massage to relieve stress!
Studies have found that even just a small 15-minute massage once a week can reduce your overall stress levels. Check with your work to see if massage therapy is included in your benefits.
Day 2 Challenge: Book a massage or skip the spa and give or receive a massage with a partner.

Welcome to Day 4 of our 7 Day Self-Care Challenge! Today we will be focusing on getting active and being social.
It’s easy to get stuck in the same old routine of work, eat, sleep. Today, gather a group of friends and do an activity outside. This could be going for a walk, hike, or even playing a sport.
Day 4 Challenge: Get active and social by gathering a group of friends to do something outdoors.
Welcome to Day 5 of our 7 Day Self-Care Challenge! Today we will be taking a break from social media for the day!
The average person spends more than two hours a day on social media for leisure! While social media can be a great way to reconnect with friends, it can also become toxic quickly. Taking some time away from your social media can help you change your outlook, and maybe even your mood!
Day 5 Challenge: Take a break from your social media and do some journaling about how your mood and perceptions have changed.
Welcome to Day 6 of our 7 Day Self-Care Challenge! Today we are going to practice an attitude of gratitude.
We have a lot to be grateful for in our lives. Whether it’s family, friends, or even just a roof over your head, it’s important to reflect on all the wonderful things we have to be grateful for in our lives.
Day 6 Challenge: Write down three things you are grateful for and set an intention for tomorrow.
It’s the final day of our 7 Day Self-Care Challenge! We have learned about how to take care of our mental, physical, and mental health throughout this challenge.
Today, take the time to celebrate your accomplishment! Find something that brings you joy and spend some time doing that today.
